Mary Keehn - Cheese Maker
MARY KEEHN
Mary Keehn is a self-proclaimed "serious hippie" and a mother of four. She is a business owner and the owner and founder of Cypress Groove, which specializes in Goat's Cheese. I chose to do my blog post on her because of how interesting her story is, she went out everyday to find a goat to get milk but ended up making cheese and she loved it. She started her business in the 70's and is still going till this day.
I find it very inspiring and I admire her for her continuous hard-work. She never gave up and look at where she is now, with a successful cheese business. I admire her for doing this and making it when she was a single mother, of not one child, but FOUR! That's a lot of responsibility and she did it all.
I'm glad I found out about her and to have get to know more about her as she is very inspiring. Do you think she's inspiring? I would love to know.

Murray's Cheese Blog!
Today I found this blog called "Murray's Cheese Blog" and I love it. Murray gives gifts ideas, experiences and helpful tips surrounding and about cheese. Murray also has a shop and a way to contact them, it seems very popular. After reading a bit of it, I found it very helpful and I might use some of his tips on my own. His recent post "Spotlight on Spring Cheese" talks about how Goat Cheese is a spring cheese! I didn't know that but I'm glad that I do now and I'd love to try it out myself.

Different Kinds of Cheeses?!
Hi. I was eating Cheese the other day and thought about how many types of cheese exist. There seems to be a mix of different kinds of cheeses but I didn't know the exact number, and that's what I wanted to know. So I looked it up and wow I was shocked! There are 1,800 different types of cheeses, that is a big number and it shook me. I'd love to try them all. 😱

Books about cheese!
Hi. It's me again. I found this book about cheese called: "Cheese and Culture: A History of Cheese and Its Place in Western Civilization" and it looks interesting! I read the first few pages and I honestly liked it. I liked how it talked about some questions I had like, Who made cheese? Who was the first person to discover it or WHO discovered it.. It is a very nice and interesting book and if you're interested in Cheese as much as me, well, you really should give it a go.
